25.01.2022 During the ceremony of the 5th Annual Kagyu Monlam Australia 2015 - the theme was "Together we pray for world peace and happiness" held at the Concourse Concert... Hall in Chatswood. Monlam is a Tibetan word; Mon means a wish and Lam means a path. We chanted sutras for three days. On Sunday afternoon, I was asked to chant a sutra in Japanese on behalf of Japanese community. During the final cultural performance day, there were many international performers who shared their skill such as Korean dance & drum, Tibetan songs, Indian dance, Tibetan monks' song, Chinese Harp and dragon dance, etc. See more

21.01.2022 Yesterday, we successfully observed 2018 Obon and August Shiotsuki memorial service, plus we also commemorated all the victims caused by western Japan heavy rain disasters. It was so wonderful to have Rev George, Roy-san from Adelaide and Graham-san from Canberra plus Nao from Melbourne! We commemorated and appreciated all of our ancestors who dedicated for us, and shared our thoughts for all the victims and their families who are still have difficulties returning to their re...gular daily life. 13.01.2022 Once again I attended the "Service of Respect" and officiated Buddhist ceremony at Japanese side of the Cowra War Cemeteries on Sunday 27 Sep 15. This was the f...inal event of Sakura matsuri in this town. Sakura/Cherry blossoms were beautiful! Tendai monks joined the chanting and one of them played Biwa guitar in the memory of all deceased in Cowra which was very touching... Thank you Mr Tony Mooney for preparing a bunch of flower for me! He always make best MC supported by Mr Justin Smith, the manager of Cowra Japanese Garden and Cultural Centre.
