25.01.2022 Hi there Hoofbeaters Attached is the program for our gymkhana on 25 October. Please note, this is a members only event. Cost is $25 per participant - to be prepaid by Wednesday 21 October. To make sure this is a fun/no pressure event, there will be no 'best presented' class - no plaiting is required.

25.01.2022 Our next event is a rally day on Sunday 27 September - gates open at 9.00 a.m. This will be followed by our AGM at 12 noon at the grounds (not at the Library). All existing positions will be declared vacant, with some new roles also needing to be filled. Please give some thought to taking on a role. Many hooves make light work! Nomination and proxy forms may be downloaded from our website - www.hoofbeatsridingclub.org.au.

24.01.2022 To all club members, as you would be aware our AGM is on the 31st August. We need as many as possible to attend. All committe positions will become vacant. So basically we need nominations for President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasure/public Officer and also some general committe members. As it stands now we only have 1 general committe member which is me and I live two and a half hours away. As you can imagine this committee has been the same for quite some year...s, and as is with most clubs people do get tired and a bit disenchanted. Back when we had over 100 members we had at least 12 on the committee, but I know that this is impossible at the moment with the few members we have. So basically we need some members to step up and go on the committee. Ideally it should be something like this, Pres, Vice Pres, Secretary, treasurer and for general committee something like, gymkhana organiser, rally day organiser, maybe a trail ride organiser (for anyone who knows Scheyville) and perhaps and jumping or dressage organiser. Fortunately, because we are a small club we are not under scrutiny from any authorities because last years AGM was pathetic, we have to have a quorum at the AGM to run it correctly. These are my thoughts only, but hopefully the rest of the committee agree with me. I have been a member for a long time and have in the past been president, vice and secretary so I am not talking from the top of my head! I would hate to see the club close but without a proper committee the outlook could be quite dire. Lyn Todd See more

If you do not have a TSS with you or your horse does not meet any of the exemptions, you may be fined. The horse only TSS that you can print and complete when moving your horse(s) is available on the Local Land Services website here https://www.lls.nsw.gov.au//pdf_/0009/1259964/HorseTSS.pdf If you are claiming one of the exemptions, you are advised that proof is required that the journey falls under one of the exemptions e.g. a veterinary appointment booking, registration at a gymkhana or proof that the horse is a racehorse.
