23.01.2022 A HUGE Thank you to Tony from Babbajin Wildlife Park and top local bloke, Steve Sadlier for their help earlier this week with removing a Goshawk who managed to make his way into our Rural Showroom. Tony then brought in the gorgeous little Kenny Wombat for a cuddle. Located in Dixons Creek, Babbajin Wildlife Park relies on donations and help from the public to rehabilitate injured and orphaned wildlife like baby Kenny.

14.01.2022 Well the time had come for one of our old shop cats, Louise, to finally retire. With an estimated age of 16, shop life was getting a little much for her, and she is now happily enjoying barn life with one of our customers. Sox walked into the shop in late October, looking for some food and a cuddle. We obliged her request, before dropping her to the folk at Animal Aid in Coldstream. Sox went on to be a foster mother to some kittens, before being de-sexed, vaccinated and micro...chipped. We got the call that Sox was ready to come back this week, and our newest head of vermin control at Hoogies made her official debut! Sox is still in the adjusting phase of shop life, but you will see her out and about on duty in the next couple of weeks. She is a very sweet and affectionate cat and would enjoy some cuddles next time you are in store. A huge thank you to the Animal Aid for looking after her and preparing her for a fulfilling life at Hoogies. They are a wonderful organisation and we would recommend anyone looking to adopt a cat, dog or fury friend to look there first.
