19.01.2022 It’s been another great morning in Portland, the tuna and life has been crazy

19.01.2022 Hi everyone just a quick update on my health. I came home from hospital on Monday evening after 29 days in hospital 14 of which were spent in the ICU, I’m half way through the procedures I need done and will be going back in within a few weeks to have the rest done once I’ve regained some strength and had some good rest at home. It’s been a terrible month with a lot of lows but I’m feeling a lot more positive about things than I was a few weeks ago. Obviously I will not be able to fish or offer charters for quite some time still. Thanks so much to everyone who has reached out and the support I’ve had from family and friends and customers , it’s made it a little easier than it would of been otherwise. I will update everyone again when I’m getting back near the level of health I’m striving for.

08.01.2022 COVID 19 update- we will remain closed until further notice , we will be here and ready to operate as soon as it’s safe to do so again. Anyone with a future booking that I haven’t already contacted please text or email me if you have any queries. Our fingers and toes are crossed that we can get back into it before our run of tuna comes and goes but like everyone we just don’t know what’s ahead in the coming months. 05.01.2022 Hello everyone, as my family and friends already know, unfortunately my health has let me down unexpectedly and Ive been in hospital since the 1st of June and will remain here for the time being and the coming weeks at this stage, followed by some rehabilitation to get back on my feet. My apologies to all my valued customers that I’ve let down and had to cancel bookings on and future enquires that I can’t give a date to at the moment. I will be back better and stronger and hopefully sooner rather than later. I will keep you all updated on my return. Thank you to those who have reached out and sent their well wishes, the support is much appreciated.

04.01.2022 Friday tuna action

03.01.2022 As everyone’s heard by now fishing is back on !! We will be commencing our fishing operations tomorrow from Portland Vic for Tuna as per usual. I’m keeping things as simple and as safe as possible with some of the current restrictions still preventing us from operating at normal capacity, so I will be only offering trips for groups of 2-3ppl for the remainder of May which will allow half the deck per angler more than meeting the social distancing requirements set out by gove...rnment. Overnight stays in Victoria are still off the cards so it’s strictly day trips only for now which I know won’t work for many people also. Obviously It’s not an ideal situation but that’s all I can offer at the moment and it’s quite a unique situation in one hand being able to book the boat for 2 or 3ppl at normal pricing.$300pp weekdays and $330pp weekends. The boat is available 7 days a week. First availability is May 18th as I have some previous bookings to work through first.
