25.01.2022 HOOKED ON KIDS is back in 2018!!! *** Wednesday 17 January 2018 *** + optional trail ride on Friday 19 January 2018 In the Hooked on Kids programs, your little peeps will have supervised, meaningful, hee-hawing fun with horses and donkeys, with activities designed specifically to build confidence, teamwork and a sense of service to others. (But shhhh, don’t tell them they’ll be LEARNING at the same time!)... Our Hooked on Kids programs are a must if: ~ You want a meaningful and fun learning activity for your child’s school holidays ~ Your child struggles with confidence and socialising with other kids ~ Your child worries excessively or gets anxious about challenging tasks or social situations ~ Your child has trouble with self-regulation and appropriate emotional responses Hooked on Kids is delivered by a leadership and team building expert who is also a pre-service teacher, alongside a teacher aide experienced with children who have special challenges in life. Together they have a combined 30+ years horsemanship experience, and hold current insurance, Working with Children Blue Cards and first aid certificates. Hooked on Kids is only $130 per child includes 1 x 6 hour Hooked on Kids session (9am to 3pm) with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, with an optional 2 hour trail ride ($75). https://www.equenti.com/product/school-holiday-program/

22.01.2022 Horses help us to help ourselves. At Hooked on Kids, through equine assisted learning we help kids with emotional regulation, boundaries, teamwork and self-leadership. (We don’t do ‘therapy’ here... we do learning focussed on progress and growth.)

Last week we delivered Hooked on Kids to an amazing group of special school graduates on their Supported Schoolies program, coordinated by Jess Lane Cla at Community Lifestyles Agency. We're so proud of the kids, our team (both two- and four-legged!) and everyone involved with this initiative. Giddyup.

08.01.2022 Crazy fun yesterday at Hooked on kids!! We saw kids busting through confidence barriers, stepping up to help each other (our favourite thing!) and of course the beautiful connections between them and the donks and horses. We couldn't be more proud of these little leaders! ... And TODAY we're off for the trail ride - we'll check in with you on the trails. Giddyup!
