17.01.2022 Sophie, you’ve made my year I met Sophie at the end of 2016 as a 16 month old. We spent 2017 & 2018 playing and learning together. In 2019 she was elsewhere for daycare and even though she was only three, she expressed to her mum regularly that she missed me ... I saw her once in 2019 mid year. Today we caught up and the first thing she said was Skye, I’ve missed you and handed me this painting. One of my very favourite parts of Family Day Care is the Attachment that’s formed between your child and the Educator. Your Educator becomes attuned to your child and the level of care and education they receive is at a deep emotional level. When a child has their survival needs met and feels a strong attachment to their carer, their emotional development grows in leaps and bounds. Thank you for the heart felt connection Sophie

17.01.2022 Thats a wrap for the school holidays. Its been delightful having Zolton home & having some of the siblings visit us. Weve had a fabulous time visiting Kathys place, some beautiful parks and our own backyard. Its been delightful having such a mixture of ages and watching how inclusive and caring the bigger kids are of the little ones under 2. Cant wait for the next school holidays

Ive learned so much about myself as a person and as an Educator.
