08.01.2022 ...HOPE BOUTIQUE is our family home based hobby located in West Wallsend NSW... HOW HOPE BOUTIQUE WAS STARTED: Hope Boutique evolved mid year 2020 amongst what was/has been a very trying year for many. However our year was in particular very hard and testing on our whole family. A long story shortened (as much as I could); my husband had been very unwell for quite some time and in November 2019 he was added to the transplant list with that being the only "HOPE" to save hi...s life. Fortunately for us in January this year 2020 he/we got the phone call that would change all our lives - they had found a suitable match for his transplant. We have a very large family and within hours my husband and I were on our way to Sydney leaving our family anxiously awaiting. After the transplant my husband had many issues with rejection etc and our stay in Sydney lasted over a month and in all that time our older children ran the house for us and helped with the younger children. Sometimes on a weekend the older ones would come to visit but it was very hard on everyone and the time away from eachother was extremely hard and emotional for us all. Just as things started to look good for us and we were given the clear to head home and start to enjoy our second chance at life covid19 hit and this put us in absolute lockdown due to my husbands recent transplant surgery and his lack of immune system. Plants became our new escape and something we could all still do and enjoy together. At first the hubby would enjoy just being able to watch on until he was able to gain back some of his strength and join in. We ended up enjoying gardening so much we started to make up potted gifts for friends and family and that is now what has evolved into our little home hobby making beautiful planted pots, gifts etc. The name HOPE BOUTIQUE was chosen because throughout everything, even when there seemed there was nothing else left we always had HOPE!
