17.01.2022 Cereal anyone? We’ve got a few choices Our community pantry(for Centrelink benefits and agency referrals) is currently operating 10-12noon Monday’s at 200 Gilmour street.

15.01.2022 HopeCare Community Pantry update Our pantry reopens on Monday June 1. $30 per basket free fresh produce and bread depending on availability... Card Payments preferred. We have new hours to ensure appropriate social distancing: Monday 9:30am 11:00am Wednesday 9:30am 11:00am (we will have a strict limit of 30 client registrations for each day) Registration will begin at 9:30am and clients will be able to shop once they are registered. We can only have a maximum of 3 clients in the pantry area at one time. To ensure we comply with regulations it would be appreciated if only 1 adult per family shop and children are cared for by another adult outside the pantry area. New Clients will need Centrelink card or Agency referral. Look forward to seeing you again soon. HopeCare Community Pantry team

12.01.2022 BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD FOR THE JUNKTION- Some of you may be aware the 10 year lease Hope Care has for the Junktion expires in October. Some of our loyal customers ...have expressed concern that we would not be operating the facility into the future. To clarify, Hope Care is currently finalising our application to extend our lease long term. We will do everything within our power to ensure we will be operating the Junktion and serving the community for many years to come. See more

09.01.2022 Hopecare cafe meal service will resume 22 July (after the school holidays)!!

09.01.2022 HopeCare Community Pantry with be resuming normal operating hours on Monday July 6, 2020 after our brief closure and temporary arrangements due to the COVID 19 crisis. Registrations will open at 10:00am and last registration will be taken at 12:00pm on Mondays only. In order to comply with social distancing regulations, we have put measures in place: ... You must use the hand sanitizer provided at the registration desk, You may use the trolley provided to help carry your basket, You will be provided with a 15 minute timeslot in the pantry, You must adhere to social distancing practices of 1.5m between people at all times (it is a legal requirement), and; Children will need to be cared for by another responsible adult as they will not be allowed in the pantry area. The pantry can only permit 4 clients in the pantry at any one time. Thank you for your cooperation with these new measures.

07.01.2022 HOPE CARE WINS JUNKTION! At 12:01pm on Thursday17/9 the council confirmed that Hope Care had won the race to secure another long term lease for the Junktion. We... would like to acknowledge the overwhelming support from our customers, local businesses and agencies all across the Central West. We are especially grateful to our staff and volunteers for their contribution to our submission. This decision is recognition of the success of the Junktion and its reputation as one of the premier Community Recycling Enterprises in NSW. See more
