WILSON (22 Aug) QLD Health just declared this morning over Greater Brisbane, new COVID restrictions due to a cluster at a Brisbane Youth Detention Centre. Some workers were found with COVID and of relevance to us is that one stays in Forest Lake. The restrictions means that all personal home and outdoor gatherings must be no more than 10. This affects our life group activities.... WILL 23 AUG CHURCH SERVICE CONTINUE? Yes. QLD Health clarified that organisations with their industry COVIDsafe plans are exempt, which includes our church. Hence, our church services can continue as planned. We are confident that our church services will be safe as we have implemented the relevant COVIDsafe plans. Please check FAQ on https://www.hope-church.com.au/saveyourseat/. Attendees are recommended to bring your own face masks as an added precautionary measure. ALL THOSE WHO HAVE REGISTERED If you are showing any symptoms of sickness, we highly recommend you stay home. If any decide NOT to come this Sun, we urge you to return your tickets asap so that others who missed out can come. For all tickets were SOLD OUT. ALL THOSE WHO MISSED OUT ON REGISTRATION We will make any returned tickets available after 6pm tonight, until service commences. Please check the online registration. I know such QLD Health announcements can be unsettling. However, I am confident that the QLD Health requirements are more than adequate.
