24.01.2022 Meet Jonathan Wong, our new administrative lead person. Jon commenced with Collective Hope back in July/August. He has a critical role that functions as a hub role between our various staff and locations. He was previously employed at Instatruck - a Perth-based tech startup that provides owner drivers of utes, vans and trucks with an uber-like platform. He graduated from UWA in 2015 with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Economics and Marketing and brings a passion for Jesus.
10.01.2022 Wow! We are feeling very blessed for the donations we have received recently. Our residents were able to start up their own Art Therapy journals this week, which provides a safe place for expression and self-reflection. Thanks again!
07.01.2022 We are after donations of arts and craft equipment for our weekly activity workshops. If you have a surplus of paints, pencils, mason jars, newspaper, misc craft supplies we would love to hear from you :-)
05.01.2022 We are pleased to announce Methma Atapattu has been appointed (WEF 29/9/20) as the new Team Leader for Collective Hope Disability Services. Methma is a counsellor, researcher, and mental health professional with a Masters of Counselling from Murdoch University (AUS) and a BSc (Hons) Psychology from Coventry University (UK). For most of 2020, she has been volunteering at Collective Hope and played an integral part in the success of our first Recovery College program under th...e direction of our Accommodation and Disability Services Manager, Bev Wilson. Methma has been described by previous supervisors as ‘enthusiastic, dedicated and highly skilled. We are confident that her skills in the sector, and her genuine care about mental health will result in wholeness and healing to those within our services. Please be sure to make her feel welcome!
