20.01.2022 As we enter the final turn of this 2020 year most of us are flagging. When I feel exhaustion lapping at my feet I tend to focus on myself, not others, emotions leak out, resentment builds. Now is the time we must dig deep, tap into the resource Jesus died to release for us. Now is the moment that we must treat each other with great love, respect and compassion. We have all run this marathon. Let’s finish it together.

17.01.2022 Here is a prayer for anyone struggling with the unknown Father, I don’t know how all this turns out. You do. So teach me to simply be in Your presence. Come close and make me aware of Your guiding hand. Open the eyes of my heart to what You would have me see. Give me the courage to trust in Your goodness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

09.01.2022 Today I celebrate 30 years of marriage and this was the daily verse in Youversion! A lovely word for us from God. Marriage is a lot like running a marathon- it takes commitment and effort but the rewards are incredible! Everyone has those moments when you hit the wall and your body tells your mind, I can’t do this anymore I need to give up. But, if you want to get to the finish line you must make the decision to keep going. Then something amazing happens- you get a second ...wind! You find that actually you can do more and the feeling of having broken through means you are euphoric! So for anyone who is hurt and hitting the wall in their marriage I want to encourage you to make that decision to keep going. Get help, read God’s word and do what He says. He will be there to encourage you. You will not regret the decision to stay if you are safe to do so. See more

08.01.2022 It has been a mighty run in ministry since my last break in January. God knew I needed this moment to catch my breath. I am day 3 of my leave and claiming this promise today!

04.01.2022 Walk in love! When I follow God’s commands it leads me on his straight path. I can appreciate the view from there. Imagine the experience off the path! Uncomfortable, difficult, disorienting, so easy to get in serious, life threatening trouble. Sometimes the path is hard to follow, there are beautiful things that entice us off. Walk in love.

03.01.2022 In my devotion today God reminded me of his passionate love for his children. We are surrounded by God’s love and Jesus is a protective big brother who intercedes on our behalf so that Satan cannot harm us. Whether I experience love and safety is a matter of where I look for those things. Choose God and experience peace in every circumstance.
