Scout bees discover new flowers, sometimes travelling between 1-6km from the hive! 06.01.2022 SUNFLOWERs ~ These beautiful sunflowers are such a sight! Not only are they my all time favourite flower, but their pollen also has important medicinal properties for our beesimproving the health of these pollinators, whilst reducing disease for the colony! ~ This particular field is currently feeding our bees. Our bees have been busy in a location filled with Grey Ironbark!!! AND have made the most beautifully sweet seasonal honey. ... Grey Ironbark honey is known for its visually lighter colour, and delicate fresh taste...
