25.01.2022 Jeb update: Our beautiful Jeb, who is a 16 year old Morgan x has had a second passenger ride under saddle this week. He has been amazing, and has won Kylie's heart with his gorgeous deep eyes, sweet personality, willingness to learn and take things in his stride. He loves his carrot treats, and we are blessed to have him in our lives! Kylie is so grateful for our amazing volunteers and friends Bianca & Natasha for all their help with this cute boy!

24.01.2022 Stacia and Bee had their first trot together yesterday. Bee has come so, so far since arriving at Hope Reins 8 weeks ago. As a 14 year old Morgan who came to Hope Reins having had the basics of being able to be caught, haltered, led and tied up, whilst being a very anxious girl, Bee has now begun her journey of being started and educated under saddle. She is calm and brave, just like her young trainer!

24.01.2022 Saturdays are for having fun, so Logan & Cooper certainly got up to plenty of that today!

23.01.2022 Absolutely! We all are able to be worldchangers, one person's world at a time!

22.01.2022 The slightest smell of rain and they are off and racing. It would appear the race starts when the black horse (Diamond) puts in a little buck. I think Hosanna (Donkey) may need a slight head start to make up for short legs, whilst Mr Darcy (Palamino) has the biggest advantage in long legs. Who would you declare the winner?

22.01.2022 So grateful to have this young fella in our Hope Reins family, and today Marcus received his volunteer shirt!

21.01.2022 First time seeing a round bake and it was such a scary thing at first for Bee and Leora, but they are quite good friends with it now!

21.01.2022 What a gorgeous moon tonight!

20.01.2022 Bee update: Well, Anastacia has built a beautiful partnership with Bee, the 14 year old Morgan mare. Over the past 6 weeks, Stacia has helped Bee work through lots of anxiety, as well as helping her focus on the work being asked of her. Bee has been exceptional in responding with kindness and willingness, so last week, Bee had her first passenger ride ..... ever! We are so proud of both these girls! Bee was quite calm and continued to focus on Stacia, who led her around with Kylie being the passenger. Amazing! Loving this partnership!

19.01.2022 Tomorrow (Wednesday) we have a volunteer information session from 11am until 1pm. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, or finding out more, please let Narelle know on 0428 084673, or email her [email protected]

18.01.2022 Sheba has had 4 weeks off work due to a basty cough and lost her waistline. So, back into fitness training she goes!

18.01.2022 We love our Prydes EasiSport, and feed it even to our mini's who are prone to Laminitis, knowing it is low in sugar and starch and contains no grain, therefore making it a safe feed for our equine family! @PrydesEasifeedAus

18.01.2022 A number of our Hope Reins family will be attending this time of reflection tomorrow. Most of us in our community have been touched by suicide in one way or another, and so we are grateful for the opportunity to stand with others, who have also been touched by suicide for this special, reflective time. Anyone is welcome to come and join with us.

17.01.2022 Playing with Poppy Catt today, introducing her to the gym ball and bubbles. She really is a cutie, who will soon be 3 years old. Thanks Shoni for helping build her confidence! Thanks Anna for blowing the bubbles!

17.01.2022 Christina and Leora had a massive achievement today, with Christina having her first passenger ride on Leora. Both girls did so well and we are so proud of them both!

16.01.2022 Last week Anastacia finally got to have her first passenger ride on Bee. So proud of how far both these girls have come over the past 8 weeks, with numerous challenges being overcome by horse and human.

16.01.2022 New chicks! This was not a planned hatching, however these 2 girls were determined to be mumma chooks. Gotta love those determined bantams.

15.01.2022 Peaceful in the shady place of the shadow!

14.01.2022 We could hear banging noises from the house and went to investigate, only to find Jeremiah cooling himself in the water trough while the donkeys jealously look on! Hmmmm...... and we are watching the water slash everywhere. I think we really need some more rain, now, please God!

13.01.2022 Ruth with Poppy, enjoying the afternoon sun!

12.01.2022 So beautiful and thoughtful!

11.01.2022 Christina introduced Leora to the saddle last week. It has been quite the challenge to encourage Leora to relax, however, she was very calm and comfortable with this. These 2 girls have made us so proud in how far they have come together.

10.01.2022 Anna spent some quality time with Hope yesterday, detangling her gorgeous mane!

09.01.2022 Sunny, the tractor at the end of another beautiful day!

08.01.2022 We love our Hope Reins family, and today, these 2 amazing volunteers received their Hope Reins volunteer shirts.

07.01.2022 Courage is choosing to find strength within ourselves to persevere, to overcome difficulty, or to tackle fear. Courage looks different for all of us. For some, ...it takes courage to get out of bed. For others it takes courage to go to school. Courage might be having a tough conversation, or courage might be trying something new. Take time to notice the ways those around you are being courageous in loud and quiet ways, and cheer them on. Because sometimes cheering someone on can make a lifetime of difference. See more

06.01.2022 We all have our own stuff to work through, and everyone we meet is battling their own stuff too! Thank you for having the courage to get up and play your part today! Thank you for keeping on going despite the fact the weight of your worries is hard to carry! Thank you for making the world a better place, just by being you! You are one of a kind, and you matter! You are the only one who can play your unique role and we are so thankful for you! You are a world changer for someone today, just by being you! You make the world a brighter place!

06.01.2022 Praying we all get some big rainfalls during October. Our little dam that was desilted at the beginning of the year is dropping dramatically, and we have continued to have to buy water for our main mob! Thank You God for the rain that's coming!

05.01.2022 Another beautiful start to our day!

04.01.2022 Lily got to soak up some much needed love from one of our amazing young people. There is just something about that connection between a horse and a human!

01.01.2022 This was our amazing view this morning! We are so blessed living here!
