This beautiful exhibition is on display in our cafe throughout March. My family on my father side come from Cunnamulla, his father came down from Alice Springs. Mum comes from Woorabinda. My great grandmother comes from Weipa (Kitty Hawk). All my paintings come to me in my dreams like a photo. Since we opened our doors in 2017 we have provided over 28,152 hours of training to over 66 people in Brisbane! Our recent graduate Rahira and her son lived below the poverty line as she was ineligible for Newstart payments. Rahira graduated from our program on the the 28...th of June and was pleasantly surprised by her tax return! She was able to pay for her driving test and license as well as purchase her first car. She is now completing her Certificate III in warehousing and ready to take on the world.
