23.01.2022 Well that’s a wrap for the year Saturday the 2nd was our last shoot for the year, with not great weather conditions during the morning the rain and clouds finally cleared and turned out to be a great day for shooting. Thanks to everyone who turned up and supported us for the day, we would also like to thank our sponsors for the day in Flexi Grain your sponsorship is greatly appreciated!!!! 23.01.2022 Hi All, after discussions between the club and it’s members and given the current Government advice regarding COVID-19, we regret to inform you all, that we will be canceling all shoots until further notice, this decision is not made lightly but to fall into line with the rest of the country we must comply, stay safe and look forward to catching up with you all on the other side of this challenging time

20.01.2022 Hi all just a quick mention to everyone that the Hopetoun Gun Club after discussion with its management and members Will Not be holding our July Shoot, We hope to have another meeting before our August shoot and make a decision from there if we will start shooting competition once again we hope everyone is keeping well and hope to see you all back at the club soon!!!!!

18.01.2022 Well yesterday we held our June shoot for the 2019 shooting year, the weather certainly made for some interesting targets in the double rise, the day ran reasonably smooth apart from a small delay with a minor trap malfunction but was shortly rectified with a new bolt, we wish to thank all who helped us out on the day and helped us out in anyway shape or form and especially to the guys that helped with getting the trap back up and running!!!! 16.01.2022 It certainly wasn’t the easiest conditions on Sunday to be shooting in, with a rather chilly Southerly blowing making for a chilly day out on the tracks, although it did stop 22 shooters braving the conditions for some mixed results but a great day out all round. 14.01.2022 Hi all yes we are BACK and yes there has been a change in the Program for our shoot on Saturday the 10th, we will NOT be shooting the program advertised in the program booklet. Please read the previous post for the details. Due to the current conditions: Please adhere to all current COVID-19 Restrictions and ensure if you are feeling unwell please STAY AT HOME and remember to wear mask at all times, apart from when you are out shooting and remember to keep to your social distance. Hand sanitiser stations will be set up around the club for your convenience!!

08.01.2022 Yesterday was definitely a day for the keen shooter or the insane, with rather windy blustery conditions and a few showers certainly made for an interesting days shooting. The day saw 33 shooters partake in the 100 TGT SOUTHERN MALLEE DOUBLE BARREL CHAMPIONSHIP, in association with the day for the overall high gun was the 4th Sylvia Ey Memorial and it was great to be able to have some of the family home for the occasion. 07.01.2022 Hi all just a quick update on the shoot Friday night it was advertised as both events where to start ( once dark) this won’t be the case, We will get the first event going right on 6:30 so as we can get it shot and hopefully not take to long as so the last shooters will not be shooting in the dark and then we will be having a BBQ tea then shoot the second even once dark hope to see you all there
