He took us top in 2019 to break a 25 year premiership drought and 2nd in 2020 after moving up a division. Mitch has helped build a great culture at HV, as well as bringing success, loyal mateship and a strong work ethic within the group. We look forward to seeing what 2021 and beyond will bring. 13.01.2022 With a heavy heart, we share the sad news that HVFC Life Member, Jeff Wyatt, has passed away. We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to all his family and friends. Funeral plans are to be advised soon. Jeff played junior and senior football at Hope Valley, as well as many other roles at the club and was awarded Life Membership for his wonderful service. 10.01.2022 Couple people been asking about tickets and capacity for the GF at Woodville Oval Capacity for the day is about 3,200. There are also limits into the Grandstands. There will be security guards placed on the entrances to the stands who will monitor numbers there. (Jarman Stand 276 and Fox Stand 114) Hope Valley and Walkerville in the A grade Pembroke in C and B grade with Adelaide Uni and Woodville South.... Tickets only at the gate - cant be pre-purchased **Covid Tracing Requirements** There may be delays to entering the venue due to COVID entry and information recording requirements. This includes all players, officials and spectators having to register their details upon entering. It is recommended to arrive 10-15 minutes earlier than planned to allow for any delays. Everyone is also recommended to register their details prior to the day to save time. They can take a screen shot/photo of the confirmation of check in and then show this quickly upon arrival to save time. 02.01.2022 Today we were privileged to host the Memorial service via Livestream and also the gathering afterwards in the Club for Ian Mattschoss Ian is the dad of Aren Mattschoss (1 of our U18 boys) and was a great supporter of Aren and Hope Valley all through Juniors. It was great to have the Mattschoss family back with us in 2020. Ian was a great guy and always up for a chat - definitely one of life’s true gentlemen. ... 01.01.2022 We are pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Hunt as the B Grade Men's Coach for 2021 Pete comes to us with a lot of football IQ from almost 200 Senior games, as well as previous Senior coaching experience with HV Pete's recent experience with coaching and working with 16-18 year olds in the Barossa League will be a great asset, as we have a number of players in that age bracket coming through the ranks over the next couple of years... 01.01.2022 Pembroke Kings have informed us there will be security on the gate on Saturday checking eskies as no alcohol is allowed to be brought into the venue. We should also all bring our own chairs so we can sit down and have a drink (that you have purchased from their bar). Please do the right thing and make life easy for the Pembroke volunteers off the field. They are simply enforcing the rules, not making them. Lets raise some hell on the field though
