20.01.2022 Hi everyone, last week was the first week of school holiday workshops at Art Est. Art School. The poor munchkins missed out last school holidays because of covid 19 so were very happy to return their creative spaces. It was a fun busy time which Ill be doing all again from tomorrow. Here are some highlights from last week where the kids made slithering slimy snails, pokemon planters, Bears with beanies & bows, Castles and Cat & Dog bowls. If youre local & the kids are looking for something creative to do this week then take a look at art est website for workshop availability.

19.01.2022 Today I was working on something a little bit different, underglaze painting portraits onto porcelain pendants and brooches. The pendants are double sided so it doesnt matter if it flips while wearing it as there is no back Im hoping to have these ready with clips and pins in time for Mothers Day. #australianceramics #ceramics #pottery #porcelain

10.01.2022 I have just returned home from a wonderful week at Broken Hill in the NSW outback. I was honoured to be asked to teach 2 x 2 day Australian animal sculpture workshops for the Broken Hill Potters Society. A total of 20 participants over 4 days. Here are some of the fantastic results & some action shots from the workshops that ran from Saturday to Tuesday. I was made to feel very welcome by the whole group who were very friendly and enthusiastic. A local ABC Broken Hill reporte...r visited on Monday and interviewed me which was broadcast Tuesday. Broken Hill is a great town with lots to do and I enjoyed sightseeing each afternoon (sunset at the living sculptures is a must-see when visiting BH). All in all a fun working holiday. I hope to return again one day. #australianceramics #ceramics #pottery #sculpture #animalsculpture #wildlife #wildlifesculpture #brokenhill #brokenhillpotterssociety Broken Hill, New South Wales See more
