13.01.2022 I was heartened today to hear that ANZ bank has a plan to exit thermal coal by 2030 and commit to net zero emissions by 2050. Not so much an ethical stance but they're profit has dropped 40 percent so I assume they can see the writing on the wall and share holder pressure is on. Oh yeah and the Federal Government has slammed them for this move, no surprises there as we all know who donates to our major political parties.
