13.01.2022 Congrats team @aca_cycling Thats a wrap on the @heraldsuntour for 2020 Things went to plan for us today with Michael Freiberg making it in to the early break. He was super strong all day but the sprinters reeled them in on the last lap. Michael Rice @mick_ricey was set up beautifully by the boys into the final hill where it was man on man into the final sprint, Ricey was third into the last corner and held on for 4th today. He has improved every day this tour and bee...n very active in lots of the breaks, so a great tour for him with a 4th, 5th and 6th place, finishing behind only other world tour pros when it came down to a sprint. Its been a huge 6 weeks of racing for our mens and womens teams with the Road Nationals, Cadels Race, Herald Sun Tour, Tour de Langkawi and the Melbourne to Warrnambool all since the new year began. Working alongside the rural families, Blazeaid's volunteers help to reb...uild fences and other structures that have been damaged or destroyed. Equally important, volunteers also help to lift the spirits of people who are often facing their second or third flood event after years of drought, or devastating losses through bushfires. BlazeAid volunteers work in a disaster-affected area for many months, not only helping individuals and families, but also helping rebuild the local communities. We'd love to see you in #Mooloolaba this weekend for an Elton-inspired afternoon with all performance proceeds going to help rebuild Aussie communities in need.
