25.01.2022 WE ARE RE-OPENING! Next Saturday 23rd of May we will be opening again for takeaway from 7am till 2pm everyday! With restrictions starting to ease and our wonderful parks open again, we are excited to finally step back into the restaurant and serve our wonderful customers! The situation with COVID-19 has changed the way we approach service and we will take extra precautions to ensure the safety of staff and customers at all times. This includes appropriate space for social dis...tancing, gloves and masks for our staff, hand sanitizer available for customers and a zero contact system for payment and pick up. We will be offering a new temporary take-away menu (including some of your favourites!) until the restrictions are further lifted and we open the remainder of the restaurant for sit-down style service. We are also working on a new seasonal menu to launch with the full re-opening of the restaurant so there are many exciting things on the horizon for Hopscotch! We hope to see you all soon!

25.01.2022 We are currently looking for Casual Barista/Waiter’s to join our team at Hopscotch Restaurant & Bar. The Position The position includes food and beverage duties. This position is suited for candidates that like to work independently as well as in a supportive team environment, with table service and barista experience highly preferred.... The successful applicant must be available across a 7-day roster between 7am to 3pm for 20-30 hours a week. 24.01.2022 We have crafted a new take away menu for our Kiosk! It includes most of our normal Kiosk food along with a few in-house favorites to spice things up a bit. We are still serving our regular drinks menu as well, with the exception of our fresh juices that are on hold until further notice. 18.01.2022 The announcements from the government in the last 24 hours means we will be closing the seated service area of Hopscotch until further notice. It is both unfortunate and necessary and we remain confident that the moment these restrictions are lifted we will return to trade as usual. Thankfully we are still able to offer takeaway! From midday today, and everyday from 7am till 2.30pm we will offer food and drinks for takeaway from our kiosk! These are strange times for everyone..., but we are so thankful that we are able to offer our services to the community in some way. It has been truly heartwarming to see people coming out to support us and other local businesses. 18.01.2022 A quick note to our beloved and loyal customers, Due to the developing situation with COVID-19 and the resulting downturn in foot traffic, we will be closing our kiosk at 3pm instead of 4pm until further notice. 11.01.2022 This is Lucy. She's a regular here at Hopscotch. She loves head pats, early morning walks and she gets very excited when other dogs come through for a visit! Hopscotch is very dog friendly with shady outdoor seating and enough dog bowls to keep every furry friend happy and hydrated.

10.01.2022 Keeping our guests and staff safe is our highest priority at Hopscotch, so we are making some operational changes In response to the current and ever-evolving situation with COVID-19: * In order to comply with social distancing guidelines, we have removed some tables from our inside seating to create more space between guests. * We are enforcing a stricter staff policy of more frequent hand washing and disinfecting of tables and menus.... * As always, any staff that are showing signs of illness are told to stay home as per regular quarantine guidelines. These are strange times for all of us, and we will continue to dedicate ourselves to our staff and customers as best we can. 07.01.2022 Spring is here! This week we bring you our fresh bruschetta with vine ripened tomatoes, basil from our garden, red onion, goat's curd and a drizzle of balsamic reduction. Perhaps you're after something a little more hearty. Our spaghetti and meatballs is sure to fill that spot. House made meat balls loaded with herbs fresh from the garden served on a bed of spaghetti, topped with shaved parmesan. Don't forget to make a reservation to ensure you don't miss out!

07.01.2022 Winter is upon us this weekend, so why not come in and try out winter warmer specials. A Mediterranean vegetable medley served with freshly roasted vegetables on a bed of brown rice, hummus and a drizzle of balsamic reduction. We've got a Hot Don Pedro made with hot steamed milk, Baileys and Frangelico, a trickle of chocolate syrup and a dusting of chocolate powder. Reservations are encouraged.

03.01.2022 We're excited to announce that as of Monday 1st June, in line with new government regulations, we will be opening our restaurant seating again for up to 50 people at a time. We will also be launching with a new menu! Our Winter Menu will include some old favourites and some new additions that we know you will love. As the state government eases restrictions on gatherings, we can shift back to the sit-down style that we all want and love. However, we will be reopening into a v...ery different environment than before, and therefore we are making some changes to Hopscotch that will minimise health risks for staff and customers as well as being more financially sustainable during the pandemic recovery phase: - Order and Pay at the Counter - Reduced seating to comply with social distancing rules - Bookings encouraged to help manage reduced table availability, bookings now available for 1 - 10 people - Perspex Screens around cash registers and takeaway collection - Hand Sanitiser available for anyone who wants it - New Laminated Menus that can be properly sanitised - New hand-washing and disinfecting protocols for staff We will still have a Host at the front door to manage bookings and allocate tables to walk-in customers. But instead of placing an order with a waiter, you can approach the front counter at any time to order and pay for food and drinks for your table. We don't make a change like this lightly. Table service has been an important part of our identity as a business since opening and has helped us create a friendly and warm environment for customers whilst giving the high level of customer service that you all deserve day after day. But this change will create a safer space for all of us as we emerge from lockdown. We will still strive to make Hopscotch a place that feels like home by sticking closely to our values and philosophy. Once it becomes more clear what the new economic normal will be post-pandemic and what level of health risk remains, we will assess when and whether to return to a full table-service model. Things are changing everyday and we will continue to communicate with you as much as possible. We are eager to see our wonderful customers again and show you our new and improved version of Hopscotch!
