Hopsie is a clean WCIPA with plenty of citrus and pine flavours with a solid bitterness Having being DDH with Simcoe and Centennial you get a big nose full of appricot, berries and passionfruit along ...with the citrus. What really impressed me was the clarity and colour of the beer Plus having the brew details on the can including hop minute additions I think I might give this brew a go when I get my brewzilla A very enjoyable and smashable at 6.6%abv modern WCIPA Simcoe and Citra in the boil for those who are interested The other beer is Hazy Raspberry IPA called 'Homie' and is waiting for me in the fridge. . Cascade, CTZ, Centennial and Cryo Chinook deliver a classic 4C profile, however the hazy appearance and slight juiciness on the tongue is likely to mess with minds, and I like that! This 6.5% Hop Nation/Hops to Home collab Hazy IPA brings the flavour. After being double dry-hopped with lashings of Sabra and Matueka hops this beer is nicely hazy, lightly sweet, tropical fruitiness and with a soft hop bitterness to end. A thoroughly enjoyable drop and makes me super excited to try the other collab beer in the pack.

Just a straight up classic WCIPA I think NEIPA's may have had their time in the spot light (I still dig em) Time to bring back these clean, bitter, piney and resinous beers. This is a great example showcasing 5 big hops. Warrior is the one hop I have not seen much of and I think that might bring the herbal, earthy flavours with the others adding citrus, pine and dank fruits. 10.01.2022 #Repost @the__hoptimist Fudge Stout @beatnikbeer @hargreaveshill - @hopstohome Aus Post finally stopped holding my August Hops to Home pack hostage, just in time for next month's pack to be delivered The one good thing about cold Melbourne weekends are the perfectly paired stouts that go with them. This fudge stout has additions of cocoa and lactose which make this 5% dessert stout seem far higher in ABV than what it actually is. It has a great thickness and smooth chocolate flavours with a sweetness that carries. A wonderful addition to this month's Hops to Home.

08.01.2022 #Repost @the__hoptimist Milk Stout @beerfarm - @hopstohome I was so excited when I got my first Hops to Home pack this month, and even more excited when it came with a long awaited @frothbeermag (so glad to see you guys are back in action!) Hops to Home deliver an assortment of fresh cans each month, and this month's pack had some little gems in it, including this Milk Stout from Beerfarm. It poured rich and deep in colour, with a gorgeous velvety mouthfeel from all the lactose. Strong bitter coffee flavours with hints of chocolate, this 5.5% stout is making me welcome the cooler days to come.

01.01.2022 Reposted from @perthbrewreview @rockyridgebrewing exclusive collab with @hopstohome POSTIE BIKE Red IPA 6.5% Hand delivered just this week by the postie who knows me on a first name basis by now I always like to skip past HTH posts on socials when they are released into the wild to keep the packages a surprise, and boy was I excited to see one of my favourite breweries do a collab with one of my most loved beer styles! ... Obviously this was the first tin in my box to crack open! Canned fresh in September! Nice inviting hoppy aromas of pine & strawberries with a great balance of citrus and candied fruits on the palate. Light to medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel and a clean malt backbone that finishes with just the right amount of bitterness. I would love to see more exclusive collabs with these two in the future and it’s nice to see WA represent in the eastern states for a change!
