13.01.2022 Okay folks it's that time of year again. Easter. And that means.........Speedway fireworks. This year i filmed it from the northside of the highway and from further away, just to try and get as much in as possible. Some new colours in the fireworks this year, they just keep getting better. No music, I love the sound as it is.... Anyway i hope you enjoy the video I do. 08.01.2022 Did you know that HORIZON AERIAL IMAGING SERVICES now do SOLAR PANEL scans. WHATS A SOLAR PANEL SCAN YOUR WONDERING. Well as you can see from images bellow when looking at the Solar Panel using visible light, they look perfectly fine. But its not until you use an INFRARED camera that you are able to see the temperature differences between the individual cells within each panel.... So what does that mean. Well when a Solar Panels cells are working correctly they absorb sunlight and convert it into electricity and they will give off an even temperature signature, however if a cell is faulty that cell cannot absorb the sunlight and will reflect it instead, that light is in the form of INFRARED which is invisible to the naked eye. It's this light that we use to determine the health of the Solar Panel. Why should i have my Solar Panels scanned???? 1) Well simply put, every cell that is faulty within a panel will greatly reduce the efficiency of that panel and in turn the overall efficiency of the entire Solar System. Costing you money$$$$ 2) SAFETY!!!!!!!! The other danger of a faulty Solar Panel is excess heat. Without going into all the Physics of Solar Panels, faulty cells or bypass diode can cause the cells to act as a heating element creating a serious fire danger. 3) We use the latest in Drone technology equiped with FLIR INFRARED THERMAL sensors to diagnose faulty SOLAR PANELS to pinpoint the problem in a fraction of the time it would take someone to physically inspect, disconnect and test every panel. Also removing the need for anyone to have to get on to your roof to find to fault. We can find that fault and pass that information onto your chosen Solar installer/repairer. PRICE. $125 up to 20 panels and $5.00 per extra panel. Within 50km of Warrnambool, out of this area travel time applies. I did 3 thermal scans today at 3 locations across Warrnambool, and these are the results. You see the issues clearly, some panels are fine others are just useless and some even dangerous. 04.01.2022 This is a documentary on the Mahogany Ship that i was lucky enough to be involved in awhile ago. It was a 3 day shoot along the Belfast coastal reserve, Tower Hill and Loch Ard Gorge.
