14.01.2022 The health and wellbeing of our staff, customers and the community is our top priority. As a Translink operator, Hornibrook Bus Lines are closely monitoring the... current outbreak of the COVID-19 and putting precautionary actions in place. Our webpage will be updated in time to detail the measures we have and are currently taking to assist in preventing the spread of this virus. You will see some changes on our services, and ask where possible for the following to be observed: * To reduce the potential impacts to our drivers - use a go card rather than cash (cash fares are still accepted) - use the machine closest to the kerb to tap on and off (if tapping off from the front of the bus) * To reduce the potential impact to our office staff from lost property - remember your personal belongings, don't leave them on the bus - Do not attend our depots if you don't need to. Contact us via phone on (07) 3284 1622 to find or arrange pick up lost property. See more

08.01.2022 Hornibrook Bus Lines would like to provide an additional update on the measures taken to work with the community in flattening the curve. This morning Translink announced that all Translink services will no longer take cash payments. So, what does this mean for you - our passengers? A two-week (14 day) grace period will be provided to allow those without a go card to obtain one. Within this period, those wishing to pay cash will be allowed to travel but are advised that as o...f 06 April 2020 a go card will be required. Go cards will no longer be able to be topped up on board. Go cards can be purchased and topped up at a large range of retailers such as 7 Elevens, Night Owls, and Queensland Rail station ticket offices. Go cards may also be topped up online. A list of retail locations and instructions for topping up online can be found on the TransLink website at www.translink.com.au. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Translink on T: 13 24 30 or visit the Translink website. See more
