24.01.2022 On Friday 13 November, 031 Station Busby and SO Paul Lynch engaged with local Humanitarian Entrants as they settled into their new community Hub. Settlement Ser...vices International (SSI) is proud to announce the launch of its most recent initiative, the Humanitarian Settlement Program (HSP) Youth Hub! The HSP Youth Hub will be running as a weekly event bringing SSI refugee youth together for fun, interactive sessions that celebrate social connectedness in the wake of recent adversity. SSI have sent a special thanks to Fire and Rescue NSW, Surf Life Saving NSW, and Wests Tigers for making the opening of the HSP Youth Hub so memorable! The crew spoke to the attendees about Home Fire Safety, safe cooking practices, our role as an Emergency Service, who we are and what they can expect from us, and our Safety Visit program. It was an excellent opportunity for us to connect with our community in a fun, educational and engaging way. Exceptional work by SO Paul Lynch and the crew from 031 Station Busby for attending such an important event and making it a great day for all.
