24.01.2022 Dr Abe will be in Sydney on May 2nd 2016 conducting a hands on demonstration of his technique which is taking the world by storm. His innovative technique is changing the lives of full lower denture wearers throughout the world. Implant treatment is costly and can only benefit those that can afford it or have the required bone structure. 22.01.2022 Doctor Abes visit to Australia earlier this month was a great success with venues in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane packed with people, some who witnessed his technique for the first time and others who were there to continue their learning. The outcomes of the clinical demonstrations, as usual, amazed those present with the incredible results that can be achieved using his technique. Dr Abe is on his way back to Japan via New Zealand to demonstrate his technique to New Zealand practitioners. Dr Abe runs 2 day hands on courses in Tokyo or alternatively you can contact Stephen who can provide the course in Australia or New Zealand. 17.01.2022 Myung is of Korean heritage and has been a dental technician since 2003. He specialises in the acrylic field of dental technology, with a thorough understanding of the technical aspect of implant retained dentures. Binh is a Vietnamese Australian. When he completed his Diploma of Dental Technology in June 2010, he was awarded the scholarship for Top Student of the course. He now works full time with Hornsby Denture Clinic, one of the top 5 dental laboratories in NSW according to the Australian Dental Prosthetists Association 2007 competition. Anda completed her Diploma of Dental Technology in 2011 and works part time with the Hornsby Denture Clinic team.

06.01.2022 Jon graduated from Randwick Tafe with an Associate Diploma in Dental technology 1999. After 2 years gaining experience throughout a diverse range in the field of dental technology, he furthered his studies as a dental technician by upgrading his qualifications to a Diploma in Dental Technology. In 2004 he pursued his passion further by undertaking an Advanced Diploma in Dental Prosthetics, graduating in July 2006 as a registered dental prosthetist. In doing so he also receive...d the Phil Harris Award for best student overall. His study continues today constantly gaining continuous knowledge in the field of dentures and more recently implant retained dentures. In 2009 he was involved in the education of dental prosthetists at Randwick Tafe as the assistant teacher for implant retained dentures. Since graduating he has accumulated extensive experience in the field of acrylic dentures. His time in the industry has largely been focused towards the technical and clinical aspects of the construction of dentures. He thoroughly enjoys his job and the time spent clinically with individual patients since every job is different in its own little way.

04.01.2022 Stephen began his career in dental technology as an apprentice in his fathers business in 1978. He obtained his certificate of Dental Technology in 1981 and has since studied to upgrade to a Diploma in Dental Technology. Stephen then went on to obtain a Diploma in Dental Prosthetics in 1985 and later achieved an Advance Diploma in Dental Prosthetics in 2005. His passion for continuing education has kept him at the forefront in the field of Dental Prosthetics. He is sought aft...er by many dental companies and industry associations as a lecturer and demonstrator. He played a key role with TAFE NSW in the establishment of the Implants and Overdentures course which is recognised by the Dental Board as the required course of study to enable a Dental Prosthetist to provide implant retained dentures as part of their scope of practice. More recently, Stephen was selected by GlaxoSmithKline to be the face of Polident and the ad has proved to be a consistent performer, shown frequently in prime time. Stephen has a commitment to his patients to provide the best quality dentures available. His mission statement is Quality without Compromise a statement that he and his staff take seriously. 02.01.2022 MOUTHGUARDS Hornsby Denture Clinic offers quality, custom made mouthguards that are made to fit teeth and gums closely offering greater comfort and protection than pre-fabricated mouthguards. Custom fitted mouthguards offer maximum protection against dental injury as well as reducing the incidence of concussion. They are comfortable to wear and offer maximum airway space permitting ease when breathing, (great for asthmatics).... They come in a wide choice of single and team colours as well as clear for the more discreet wearer. Names and phone numbers can be inserted in laminated mouthguards if requested. Health fund rebates apply to mouthguards and often the gap is less than a chemist or sports store type mouthguard. An initial appointment for the impression takes approximately 15 mins and the mouthguard can be ready within 3-5 working days.
