Mestizaje members have found ourselves far away from recent struggles for social justice across our home, Abya Yala (South America). We are compelled to activism to support those fighting back home. We have changed this event from a free party to a fundraiser in order to respectfully acknowledge the sombre period of protest back home, during which our people have been subject to extreme violence and repression. The funds raised will specifically contribute to supporting victims of police brutality in the recent protests in Chile.
