10.01.2022 It's been Exactly 2 months today since I got the msg that it appeared Neeka had popped a splint. We had JUST started the DOUBLE S BARREL SERIES 2019 the buckle ...series in Indus and the Saddle Series in Siksika. I called everywhere to get xrays to assess the damage. TD Equine Veterinary Group did an examination and xrays. Neeka showed zero lameness or discomfort The xrays did show a surface crack on her splint bone. The decision was made to give her time off and let her heal In the course of a month Full Stride Equine Performance performed PEMF treatments on her, 10 to be exact. Gerard Gladney helped me watch over her very closely and WITHOUT A DOUBT sped up the healing process. I will always get the best for my horses and I couldnt have gotten her through as fast without him. A month and a half later I called for Dr.Evans of Moore Equine Veterinary Centre to do a second set of xrays and give us the good to go to start competing again Everything checked out, nothing is rubbing, all is healthy and strong ! 07.01.2022 !! WORTH THE WATCH !! What happens during a PEMF session?... The PEMF device sends a pulsing magnetic field through a soft, flexible rubber coil into the body. As the pulsing magnetic field pulses on, the cell membrane is gently pulled by the magnetic field. On the off phase of the pulse, the cell membrane is relaxed.
