21.01.2022 Did you know that licensed physical therapists can utilize hippotherapy as an effective treatment tool (as part of a total plan of care for appropriate patients...) to rehabilitate patients and return to prior level of function? Some patient populations may include arthritis, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and stroke. #theahainc #hippotherapy #OT #PT #SLP #leadingtheway #treatmentwiththehelpofthehorse

09.01.2022 Over the last few weeks many centres across the state have been participating in the HorsePower Australia Progressive Dressage event. This event is a unique eve...nt where a judge travels around the state to judge participants in a variety of dressage tests. The event is an initiative of HorsePower Australia's Dressage Sub-committee and aims to encourage participation in dressage events in a safe and welcoming environment. Our congratulations to all participants and thanks to all their coaches and volunteers who spent hours washing, pampering and plaiting the horses and supporting them in this years event. Special thanks to this years judge Chris Hope and her husband John for assisting with pencilling and to Dressage sub-committee member extraordinaire Fleur Litster for organising and managing this event which continues to go from strength to strength. If you participated in our 2020 event we would love to see your photos and hear how you did #HorsePowerProgressive Photo Credit: Christine Hale
