23.01.2022 It's been a while since we've visited the Rosehill track, but we've been following every Golden Slipper race since the late 70's and with great success. We've been using the same WIN selection process to pick winners for over 20 years - a proven profit maker for us. It works best for dutch betting, but exactas and quinellas appear to figure at times. We've ran our processes for today and face a dilemma, a bunch of selections without the favourite! If you are confident, lay th...e favourite as well, currently $3.45 on Betfair. 18.01.2022 It's on again, Rosehill's richest 2 year old race, the Golden Slipper! It's a shame to find a "Heavy 10" rating with Grafton and Kembla Grange (the other two NSW tracks) both abandoned. It makes me think that Rosehill is much worse than the maximum scale of 10 and we might be in for a boggy track, all day, especially at the 7th race where the track will be very cut up. Anyway, onto selections. We have been analysing this race for decades and have picked some great winners alo...ng the way. This will be the first boggy track I can recall. We have two qualifiers, 01/PARIAH at $14 on Betfair and 03/TRAPEZE ARTIST at $34 on Betfair. Strange to find a short list of qualifiers and at good odds. Must be worth a fiver eachway though. The favourites fall short in qualifying and with the track condition been tough, it might be worth checking out some of the roughies. Good luck! See more

10.01.2022 I just love the Golden Slipper - I follow it religiously each year. I have found the race to be more of a test of fitness rather than class. So I have managed to snag a few $10 to $20 winners over the decades, just looking for the fit horses, ready to win. Some years there can be half a dozen or so contenders, others only a small few. Today, there are three! The two in the betting are definite contenders, both are ready to win. Along with class, that's a good foundation. If y...ou are following either or both (dutch bet), then you should be there abouts at the end, they should run boldly. The only other contender is 10 SPEAK FONDLY. It is $35 on fixed odds in most areas. I have never scored a $35 winner in the Golden Slipper so reluctant to call it a chance to win. When was the last time a $35+ horse won the Golden Slipper???
