21.01.2022 Can’t believe how much happier this guy is just from changing his girth! Don’t always blame your horse on its behaviour or yourself, sometimes they are just se...nsitive and need a gear check. I changed his girth from a normal elastic ergonomic to a memory foam ergonomic and he is sooo much happier. He has always been girthy, But if you can make these small sacrifices to accommodate them so they are happy before you even get on.... why don’t we? Because it’s the old mindset of I’m the boss, what I say goes bullshit, it’s ingrained into us as beginners, there is a certain degree you need to be boss to keep safe.... but you also need to be in a partnership and respect them as well. 19.01.2022 Raymond passed away this afternoon.... Peyo accompanied him to the end - After he left the hospital last Friday, Hassen took Peyo to Raymond's house to see him.... He was able to go into his room with the horse on Monday, and yesterday they went for one last walk outside. I think Raymond left in peace because of the relationship and the unique moments he had with Peyo. Was it possible to do more? More than trying to make his last days on earth a little more pleasant, less painful. Peyo's delicacy and sweetness did Raymond good, it was so beautiful to see him smile. I am grateful to have been able to witness these moments of humanity with the caregivers of the palliative care service of the Centre hospitalier de Calais, who do an exceptional job, Hassen and Peyo, guardian angels. All my thoughts go to Veronique and Raymond. Thank you for all the beautiful messages sent in the last few days. It's a great tribute to Raymond. 05.01.2022 Do you do yoga or work with Chakras? I found this interesting because I have never seen a diagram of a horse’s chakra system but this is the flow I use for them when I heal with Reiki

04.01.2022 I have been Healing horses with Reiki for a long time, But something else I have started using is Doterra Essential Oils for their mood management. I find Peace a great blend for restlessness before feeding time or a ride out where they feel a bit full of energy and they need the reassurance of peacefulness.
