20.01.2022 The Long Riding Weekend at Markdale Station. Trainers and horses enjoying a well deserved rest!

12.01.2022 10 days, 10 horses, 12 guests. We have just had an incredible time at Markdale Station near Crookwell, NSW for the Horses & Cattle Australia, Long Riding Weeke...nd x 2. We have met the greatest guests, rode in some beautiful country, moved sheep, no dogs but plenty of riders , and most importantly had loads of laughs & fun. I am SO PROUD of my team of horses, they have brought me tears of joy with the end of trip speeches x 2. They are quiet, kind, gentle, beautifully natured, easy, oozing with characters, have built confidence and created incredible connections with their riders, I'll be locking the gates when I get home . The food was divine, thank you Ange, I will miss having beautiful meals prepared for us. I may need your Sausage Roll recipe but will refrain from the Sticky date recipe for obvious reasons Jackie your a star for keeping us well (over) fed. Thank you to the Markdale Station team, all of you, you have been the greatest hosts. We have always felt incredibly welcome and valued. I love your farm nearly as much as I love riding at home, big statement. Phil's passion overflows in the garden, what a beautiful space, thank you for your time to give everyone a tour. THANK YOU for sharing Markdale Station A massive THANK YOU to my INCREDIBLE support crew at home. Dad & Deanne for carting 6 horses to and fro for me. Dad for keeping an eye on my livestock. Ange & Will & Katie for feeding & running the dogs, checking my home horses and making sure everything is fine at Brooklyn Springs. Sam Webb for time away from your beautiful new family to trim 11 horses. Tarsha Walters you have set the bar super high as the greatest work buddy. We are a wonderful team, THANK YOU, you are an absolute pleasure to work (play) with. And of course Jacqueline Lehmann Vogel from Horses & Cattle Australia, without your dream none of this would've happened. Thank you for making your dream come true so that many people experience their dream.... joy, love, happiness & freedom back in the saddle. Persistence & determination have paid off. I look forward to doing it all again in 3 weeks. THANK YOU
