With the help of the Barcoo Blitz Equine Time Trial team, there will be a FAST HORSE RACE at the 2019 Tambo Stock Show!... $3,000 prize money for the fastest horse $500 prize money for the fastest local horse / jockey combination 250m Equine Time Trial Event Each horse will run in a heat with a maximum of 5 horses. Top 5 fastest horses will then qualify for the final, where each horse that qualified will run again. Horses may be thoroughbred, but cannot have been raced/registered with Racing Australia for a period of 5 years. All other horse breeds are allowed as long as they are branded. Jockeys must be over 18 years. No currently registered Jockeys or Apprentice Jockeys are able to compete in this event. To be eligible for the Local Horse Incentive, both the horse and jockey must reside within the Blackall-Tambo shire for longer than 6 months prior to the race date. Nominations are limited.
