19.01.2022 Today is the Pancare foundation Unite for Hope event . The Pancare foundation helps to support people living with pancreatic and upper GI cancers. The event was due to be held at Princess Park in Charlton for a 5km walk but due to Covid-19 the event has gone virtual. Today one of our friendly staff members Emily, joins a group of her close friends and will be participating in a 5km walk around our local scenic drive to help raise awareness and vital funds for this heartbreaking disease that is currently affecting a close friend’s mum. If you would like to get involved or learn more about this wonderful event, the link below has all the information you need. https://pancarewalkforhope.com.au/page/LittleStepsOfHope.

16.01.2022 As of midnight tonight, we all need to be wearing face masks outside our homes. The Horsfalls team are committed to the safety of our team, customers and local community, and will be compliant with these regulations. We understand that masks can be confronting, uncomfortable and tricky to get the hang of, but it is crucial that we all work together to protect our community. Face masks will be a condition of entry to our practices whilst these rules are in place.... Please ensure that your mask is secure on arrival and stays on throughout the duration of your visit. Please ask our friendly staff for assistance if you have any questions or concerns. We are all in this together

15.01.2022 R U OK? Today means a lot this year. Check in on those around you, even those who seem so strong. What’s helping you get through these tough times?

15.01.2022 NSW - VIC BORDER CLOSURE We know everyone has been confused about our border closure, so here's what we know for our local community: Echuca/Moama residents will automatically be granted a permit to move across the bridge (We have attached the link below for you too!)... Your permit lasts for 14 days - You don't need to keep getting one for each time you cross the Murray Moving from NSW to Vic isn't a problem - It's on the way back home that you'll be asked for your permit and reason for crossing the border You can still attend your appointment, collect your glasses and eyecare products as you usually would from us. This includes glasses adjustments and repairs We will give you appointment cards, letters of proof of attendance, and sms/email confirmations to help you through this tricky period Please let us know if there's anything we can do to assist you during the border closure. We're all in this together https://disasterassistance.service.nsw.gov.au//stepPersona

14.01.2022 We wouldn't be here without the support of our loyal customers and local community over the past 66 years. Thank-you for continuing to support us through these difficult times! #horsfalls #shoplocal #100%locallyowned

13.01.2022 What are eye emergencies? Sometimes, things don’t go to plan with our eyes, but they’re too important to risk. We triage your concerns as best we can, so the more information you can provide when you call, the better! If you have any of the following symptoms, or something else you’re worried about, please chat to our friendly team:... Sudden or dramatic changes in vision Flashes of light Floaters in your vision (these are common, but if you’ve noticed that they’ve changed, we may want to check them out) Feelings of a curtain or veil across your vision Acute eye pain and/or redness Pain during eye movements Foreign objects (fine metal from grinding is the number one offender!) Blunt force trauma to the eye area No eye care concern is too big or too small, and most eye conditions can be managed effectively with early intervention. If you’re worried about something, book in to see one of our friendly practitioners today!
