24.01.2022 Its that time of the year in the Horsham Handyman garden where the Onions and Leeks are flowering. Check out these photos of the busy bees!!

20.01.2022 Horsahm Handyman is officially a Mushroom grower! Hopefully into the future we will produce these year round. The process goes like this - Open the box, check to see if the Mushroom compost looks with like in the 1st picture. If it does, cover with the Peat moss mix. Spray lightly with a spray bottle of water, keep damp covered where it will get some airflow. Needs to be out of direct sunlight, under ambient light conditions.... If any of my followers have experience and success growing Mushrooms, I'd love the opportunity to exchange ideas. Will keep you updated on how the Mushrooms develop.

17.01.2022 Nice and warm today in our seed raising area! We grow a range of Vegetables and Flowers for the garden. If you are after anything in particular, please contact us via Facebook.

09.01.2022 Here at Horsham Handyman we are always innovating in regards to upcycling items to put to use in the garden and workshop. Today we are fixing up this old workbench using bits of pine pallets salvaged from Bunnings in Horsham. Next job is to sand and paint it. Will keep you updated on how it progresses. Should look great when finished!!

01.01.2022 At Horsham Handyman we have some new projects we have been working on lately. The 1st is our Hugelkulture bed. Hugelkulture is a German word meaning "Mounds of earth builtup using branches sticks etc as the base". We are building a small test bed in our garden which will be planted to Fruit trees in 2021. The idea is dig a trench, fill it with logs, sticks etc, cover with Compost then plant something over the top so that the wood underneath eventually decays and feeds the plants. We will keep you updated on how it goes. My 2nd post today will be our Mushroom farm project.
