13.01.2022 Domestic training has kicked off this week, and we’d like to clarify a few queries > Cutoff for each week’s domestic training session is 12pm Saturday (for the following week). This allows us time to manage our courts and sessions in line with COVID restrictions. Any registrations received after 12pm will be entered in the training for the week after. > Emails regarding training times and COVID regulations will be sent over the weekend once registrations have closed for that... week. > Please keep an eye on your emails for updates to training schedules as they are subject to change as we get underway. 13.01.2022 Basketball Victoria COVID-19 Update - Monday 11 May The Victorian Government today announced some gradual easing of restrictions for Victorians that will come i...nto effect on Tuesday 12 May from 11:59pm. While basketball is a predominantly indoor sport, there are a number of ways that people can participate in basketball activities utilising community accessible outdoor courts and open spaces. Importantly, this must be done with a maximum of 10 people in any group activity, with no contact permitted, and applying social distancing and safe hygiene practices at all times. We appreciate the announcement doesnt allow for the use of indoor venues, however, we will continue to work with government to institute the appropriate guidelines that will see a return to indoor basketball at some stage in the very near future. In the meantime, we encourage everyone to take advantage of the opportunity to be active through basketball outside in a safe and respectful manner under strict compliance with the governments new restrictions.
