16.01.2022 Well here it is, all back together.. just missing the spark of life that i will sort out when i get a chance

14.01.2022 So after removing the engine from the machine it was time to pull the crank out, following that remove crank from a donor machine(i picked up a wreck at the scrapy couple years prior) photos of that process in comments

09.01.2022 Upon taking the sump off, i found why there was no oil being pumped around, one of the oil pipes had broken off in the sump, was able to inspect the state of the bearings to find that cylinder 1 and 4 had stuffed bearings and has scored the crank, and suddenly the job got bigger. Through looking at the manuals and what was right in front of me i was sure i needed to pull the engine off of the tractor, and i was dreading it

03.01.2022 so ive used a little 12 volt pump to pump oil throught the engines oil pipes, into the bearings etc, priming it ready for starting

01.01.2022 so most disapointingly the maggy lacks spark, and the machine runs an Eismann Maggy, just 28 machines later in production they were changed to Lucas maggies, i have spares for Lucas, not so for the Eismann though for now this is likely to be as far as i get on this project, i think i have 2 options, send the maggy off for reco, or convert to battery and coil at least for the time being
