03.01.2022 We have been very busy these last few weeks. We are investigating soil health, compost/weed teas, worm farming, establishing our top garden beds and observing pests that move in for a share. We constructed a chook tractor and now have a flock of 20 chickens that are great little workers for our orchard and market garden. They give us fertiliser and eggs while eating weeds and insects. We had a special visit from Kate of Bauple Park Farm. Kate introduced Korean Natural Farming to us. Thanks for being our guest speaker Kate, we are all keen to experiment with growing microbes the KNF way. Some of our crops are nearly ready to start harvesting, we will soon have veggies galore.
