24.01.2022 Today we say goodbye to Erin, a fifth year medical student who's been with us for six weeks. Erin, we wish you every success in the future, both professionally and personally, and thank you for your presence with us!

24.01.2022 We wish our Orthodox patients and friends a very happy Orthodox Christmas Day!

22.01.2022 The Directors and Staff of HSD are mindful of all our patients and friends this Christmas. For all of us its been a year of frustration, adapting, sacrificing and isolation. Some have had personal issues and difficulties to contend with. Still others aren't feeling like celebrating at this time of year, for a whole variety of reasons. And others prefer to have some peace and quiet, and not be disturbed. Whatever our story or situation, each and every one of us is a unique and priceless work of art. May we all accept and embrace this, and carry it through with us into the new year and beyond. We are closed now until Monday 4th January. If you require medical assistance during this time, please present to your closest Emergency Department, or call 000 for more urgent medical attention.

04.01.2022 We are always honoured to be part of the education of the next generation in medical professionals through our partnership with University of NSW Rural Clinical School here in Albury Wodonga. Today we welcome B.Y., as he prefers to be known, a 5th year student who will be with us on placement for six weeks. You might be asked if you're happy for him to sit in on your consultation with your doctor. There's is no pressure, and if you'd rather the doctor only to be present, you ...don't need to feel bad about declining to have B.Y. be there. Some of you may also be asked if you're happy for him to see you before your consultation with your doctor, to allow him to take your blood pressure, pulse, temperature and so on. Again, you can decline if you wish. All our previous students have enjoyed their time with us, and we're certain B.Y. will quickly feel at home due to our amazing patients and Team.
