04.01.2022 David Dean from Hostile Entertainment and David Dean Events has been working away in the background over the last few months on some different projects and speaking to some new bands/acts to look after and book in the next year now that boarders and venues are starting to open up again and can have crowds in them with the restrictions lifting. This is a good thing and hopefully we can get back to booking and going out to shows in venues again. Hopefully we will be aloud in ...the next few months to stand and dance/mosh at gigs again. We have taken on four piece Sunshine Coast rock/prog/heavy band Zubrishen as well as three piece Brisbane hard rock/heavy band Krave both for bookings in the last two months. Both of these great bands are fronted by woman with big voices which is great to se. Both bands are going to be releasing new singles and videos in early 2021 and touring playing shows around the place which we are booking at the moment, so check them out and don’t miss them when they play live. We have been working all year with local Sunshine Coast young up and coming singer song writer Mayah Song who is back in the studio recording another single for release in February 2021 and has new merch up for sale on her website. I am booking shows/dates for her solo and with her band in the coming months, so watch out for her live. Check out and listen to her first two singles online at Spotify. We are also working with Sunshine Coast well known five piece blues band The Spirits who have reformed in the last year or so for bookings. They will have some gigs happening in the new year so don’t miss them when they are playing next as they put on a great live show. We are also working with blues/country act 8 Ball Aitken for bookings around his other gigs that he already has. If you haven’t seen 8 Ball play live you need to as he is a great live performer and you will have a great night out. He has just returned from being locked down in the USA and has some gigs happening around the place, so check his online websites out for where he is playing coming up. We are still working with singer-songwriter Matt Turner who has been using his time in lockdown to build and learn to operate a home recording studio to create more music from home. He’s now focused on recording new music and we can’t wait to hear what he’s cooking up for his return in 2021. Till then, you can listen to his last single, On & On online. If anyone wants to book any of these above acts/bands or anyone else we look after and book, please get in contact with me or suggest any areas/venues I should speak to book shows/dates for them at by commenting on this post. Keep it live, loud and local and see you out at an event/gig in the new year. https://hostileentertainment.com/industry/
