21.01.2022 Some modifications and polishing service done on this promod 91 turbo and hypertune plenum.

21.01.2022 This cammed, high comp 2zz converted MR2 spyder, came in for the full race system. The exhaust port was ported and polish to accommodate the large 1 3/4" primaries, which come straight out the head hitting no bends, and flows into hand built merge collectors. The gases spiral into twin 2" #KAG vortex secondries, before split pulsing into the final merge of the tri-y configuration. The 2.5 system included a high flow cat and and Y twin out center exit muffler and is fully welded inside and out.

20.01.2022 Race ready, for all Aussie day lakeside.

19.01.2022 Playing with valve control on idle. This custom catback is all noise, and has zero drone.

19.01.2022 Shops been pumping the custom work this month with some unique fabrication. This GT had the xforce binned in favour for a stainless true dual twin 3in system. The system was configured so each bank of gasses exits on the opposite side of the car, where the pipes cross over in the cradle. This was done to try and equalise the length of exhaust. Flowing through a trio of reaper mufflers the the supercharged V8 has a new found presence on the road.

18.01.2022 The hostyl promod manifold is now complete. With months of work, of different configurations, this is it. This has been built in firing order (1,5,3,6,2,4) configuration, with emphasis on runner length. Runners are 43mm nb 1.5in sch 10 stainless 304, which individually have around the same amount of elbows. Normally pipe entry on manifolds are to the closest convenient port.... This enters the promod #hypex 6-1 collector pulsing clockwise to create a vortex before hitting turbo wheel. I can put an air gun in any cylinder runner, and feel the vacuum from the other cylinder runners. This is the scavenging effect, and is why they are commonly called extractors. All welding was done in accordance to AS 4041. Be an interesting exhaust note, when it comes on song. #hostylbuilt

17.01.2022 Few custom stainless systems, on a variety of vehicles

15.01.2022 Shorty wanna be a thug So the block huggers were removed, in favour for some big bore items to suit the 350 chev. Twin 3in stainless system was opted alongside some flowmaster hp2 mufflers, that were cradled and tucked up into the sidesteps. Laser cut brackets were used throughout, exiting into twin 2.5 in shotties. This system has made this engine rev alot more freely and has really woken this 40 series up.

11.01.2022 Been busy on some systems of late. After being purge welded, they were passivated and polished for that seamless look. With particular focus on reducing bends, the Commodore and Falcon both run full 45 deg configuration in the systems catback. This higher flow gives it the ultimate in exhaust note.

06.01.2022 Recently finished some more modified and new race systems for the fg falcon turbo. The system shows no flanges or v/bands on the underside and remains hidden for those super low cars. The exhaust is built by only using 45 degree elbows (besides 1st dump elbow) and as much straight as possible for ultimate flow. Pipe welds were acid treated to remove the oxide layer, and polished for that long lasting finish.... #hostylbuilt

05.01.2022 Some custom performance fabrication and welding

05.01.2022 Hostyl Probe is getting close, with the Port to Port mechanical installation almost complete. The cylinder head was match ported to accommodate the hypertune big port plenum and throttle, a custom fabricated 4in aluminium charge pipe was clamped on. The hostyl promod manifold was originally low mounted to keep under bonnet, but once turned around, it gave ideal turbo positioning, so we ran with it.... Full removable 5in dump pipe and 3in screamer pipes exit behind the front wheel, which will shoot blue flames from the methanol fuel. With more on the list we hope to be a real contender for a drag barra.
