19.01.2022 Never a dull moment here! 14 quail hatched this morning

19.01.2022 Incubation Service. Do you have your own fertile eggs but no way of hatching them (incubator or broody hen)? Here at HCP I offer an incubation service. A dedicated machine is kept for this service. It is sterilised thoroughly after each hatch.... The incubation process takes 21 days (for chook eggs) from when eggs are placed into the incubator. Eggs must be clean. Hatched chicks must be collected within 3 days or an additional fee for feed, brooder use and care will be charged. All possible care is taken to hatch your eggs successfully however we cannot be held responsible for power loss, infertile eggs, chicks that don't hatch or chicks born with abnormalities, etc. I will candle your eggs after 7 days to give feedback on fertility/embryo development. Happy to hatch chook, duck, geese, guinea fowl, turkey, pheasant, quail, peahen eggs, dinosaur etc.... Call 0404 848 168 if you need assistance hatching your eggs.

16.01.2022 Due to the increase in demand for poultry I'll be turning my incubators on early instead of waiting for spring. Please use the Hatching Schedule on the website to view upcoming hatch details and place orders accordingly. There will initially be a Lucy Dip mix of purebreeds and crossbreeds as most of my birds have been out free-ranging since January.... No fertile eggs for sale at this time sorry, they'll all be going into the bators. As usual chicks will be sold as UNSEXED day-olds at $12 each. Any Vorwerk or Lakenvelders will be more. I have NO adult birds for sale so please don't bother calling me for those. First come first served so get your orders placed. Not sure how long the girls will keep laying with the shorter day-light hours approaching.
