22.01.2022 20th May 1941- The Battle of Crete The Germans believed they could capture Crete in 7 days and not a day over. However, with the resistance and resilience from the Cretan people along with the Australian, New Zealand and British allied forces it took the Germans 12 days before Crete was captured. The Battle of Crete is one of the most significant battle fought in WW2. Today we remember all the lives which were lost in battle. May their memory be eternal. ... ! !
