25.01.2022 Congratulations to Keriana for shooting our highest ever score shot by a woman. Keriana scored 14 out of a possible 16 points and has rocketed her way to number 1 on the ladies leaderboard and number 15 on the open leaderboard. Keriana had never shot a gun before and was just hoping to hit at least one target. If you’ve got a group of 4 or more people wanting to take part in one of our clay target shooting experiences the booking I’d recommend would be a Fully Loaded session but our Quick Draw is great if you’ve got 6 or more people and our Have A Shot Public Group session is very affordable. Fully Loaded sessions range in price from $125pp to $175pp depending on how many people you book for. They include 25 targets p...er person (12 targets practice and 13 targets competition), one on one instruction, ammunition, light refreshments, hearing and eye protection, and medals awarded to the top three scorers. Available 7 days per week. Bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance. If you’ve got 6 or more people then our Quick Draw session is a great option and ranges in price from $89-$129pp depending on number of participants. They include 13 targets per person (0 targets practice and 13 targets competition), one on one instruction, ammunition, light refreshments, hearing and eye protection, and medals awarded to the top three scorers. 16.01.2022 You’d be surprised what you can learn about your team from one of our clay shooting events. This group was a prime example of this. The first three participants who shot their practice shot like machines in practice and looked like they would win the competition for sure but when it came to competition time they didn’t perform as well as they did in practice and the person who won this event didn’t shoot well in practice but had a fantastic competition. We always find it inte...resting how different people handle different situations. Often those that shoot well in practice feel pressure/expectations to perform well in competition. Some people handle that pressure well and others don’t. The other factor that comes into play is listening skills and the ability to actively listen to instruction for familiar and unfamiliar tasks. Those that haven’t shot before often out perform those that have shot before and think they know what they are doing (I’m yet to find someone who has mastered the art of clay target shooting and has nothing left to learn or improve. A few people in the world have come close to mastering it but no one truly has yet). The person who hasn’t shot before will actively listen to their instructor and the person who has shot before often won’t. You will also get to see how your team reacts to new experiences and their attitude to that. The ability to handle pressure/expectation, listening skills and the ability to handle unfamiliar tasks and the ability to take instruction for familiar tasks are just a few of the things you can learn about someone when you come and visit us. You’d be surprised what you can learn about who you are working with from a simple clay target shooting event all you need to do is pay close attention. #hotshotsshooting #claytargetshooting #teambuilding #corporateevents #perthevents #perth #whitemanpark #swanvalley
