25.01.2022 Channel 9 news was out at the orchard this morning ! Filming the pickers at work and talking to Bill. Watch it if you can. Another good picking day. Lots of cherries available at the weekend. Come and see us. Good cherries as well as some seconds. All good value. Cheers Lois

24.01.2022 Big black top quality cherries Dame Roma variety are getting picked bright and early tomorrow and available until 12 noon Christmas eve! Lapins will also be available which are really tasty and great quality too. Both varieties $10kg. 143 Old Cemetery Rd Chiltern.... 21.01.2022 Chelan cherries are now available ! These are dark skinned cherries, large and very firm. A popular cherry for those who like a bit of a tang .. The pickers are picking Rons variety tomorrow giving you a choice. Same price for all. Still $10 kgm in the plastic punnets or $45 for a 5 kgm box. 14.01.2022 It's our last weekend of cherry sales from the farm gate so we look forward to seeing you this weekend. We have 3 lovely varieties, Van, Simone and Lapins. All $10 per kg. Available until they sell out! We'll finish the season next week and at this stage might pick until Tuesday. Dame Roma - a larger dark cherry with a bit of a tang! Still $10 kgm in one and 2 kgm punnets and $40 for a 5 kgm box. Picking finished on Friday. 11.01.2022 Farm gate is open this Monday to Wednesday 10am-4pm and closing at 12 midday on Thursday Christmas eve. Orders MUST be collected prior to 12 on Thursday. After that we're shutting up shop and enjoying family time and the cherry season will be over for another year. 08.01.2022 We are now onto Royal Dawn variety and some Merchant cherries. Probably about halfway through the picking season. We had 20 mm rain over the last couple of days and cold winds. Rain didn’t adversely affect cherries so all good. Cheers for now. Lois and the team.

08.01.2022 Just to keep you up to date on what is happening at the farm. Lovely sunny day today. Hopefully we will get some more rain this week. We had a cherry tree planting day on the 18th July with the assistance of the Rutherglen Rotary Club.. it was a win/ win situation. The Club got $500 and we provided a BBQ lunch and they planted the trees. They were very happy to have a get together ( all with social distancing) and a chance to get some money for the club as all fund raising has come to a halt. Their weekly meetings are now via Zoom . Trees are still dormant and should be flowering in the middle to late September. Looking forward to harvest about 3 months away! Cheers Lois and Bill

06.01.2022 Hi everyone. Autumn is here and the trees in both Chiltern and the cherry orchard are alive with colour! The trees are beginning to shed their leaves ready for their winter break until September when it will be blossom time again and cherry time in November. See you then! Cheers Lois and Bill

04.01.2022 Cherry brandy jam is back! Lois has made a fresh batch and jam is selling for $10 jar. This always sells out quickly! Loads of cherries are still available at the moment. Van, Lapins and Simone, all $10kg however we have discounted Van to $40 per box as they're a bit smaller but still very tasty.
