23.01.2022 What an exciting morning for our Kindy friends! We were finally able to attend the performance of The Gruffalo’s Child at the MECC, something we have waited nearly all year for! After a short but exciting bus ride to the Entertainment Centre, we found our seats and the show began. It was amazing and the children loved the singing and being able to interact with show as well! Thanks to our parent helpers and Miss Hana for preparing a yummy snack for us. A great morning was had by all!

17.01.2022 Hi families, The end of 2020 is coming to a close, and what a year it’s been! The current Book Fair will be available until Friday 27th of November and this will be your last day to purchase a book before our parent room gets transformed into a Christmas wonderland so Santa has somewhere to visit. As you are aware, 2020 has brought some social distancing and unwelcome restrictions, so the so the parent room will be the perfect opportunity to create something magical and safe ...for the children. Stay tuned for the big reveal! This years Children’s Christmas Party, will be a little different from years before and we will introduce a weeks long Christmas Party so all of the children can participate and enjoy the festivities of this time of year. Our Christmas party week will include baking, crafts, face painting and much more! Our Christmas Party week will be from the 30th of November to 4th December so please come dressed in your Christmas best! We would have really loved having extended family and friends come to join us this year for our children’s party, however the team will ensure there are plenty of photos and videos to share! 12.01.2022 Another experiment for Science Week! All that you need is a plate of skittles, any colour is fine! Place them around the edge of the plate (like video below) and white is best so you can see colour mixing. Slowly pour enough water in the middle of the dish until it just covers the skittles and wait for the magic to happen! ... Junior Kindy Scientists!

09.01.2022 Today Hot Tots celebrated Early Childhood Educators Day. Miss Michelle became chef for the morning and made the team breakfast and presented them with a little gift of thanks thank you also to the families that brought in yummy donuts and biscuits to share and the beautiful flowers .

01.01.2022 Book Week - Please help us celebrate book week by your child bringing in a favourite book for reading by the educators and dressing up. The theme for this years book week is Curious Creatures, Wild Minds. You do not have to follow this theme, just bring your child in their favourite book character dress up either every day or just the once. Its totally up to you.
