09.01.2022 Meet the Humans: Nathan Nathan has owned dogs since the age of three, when a Great Dane/ Rhodesian Ridgeback cross wandered into the property his family was living on in Madang, Papua New Guinea and Nathan threw his arms around the dog’s neck and asked if he could keep him. Tige, the loveable buffoon had no idea how big he was, and used to lie across the hall way like some kind of canine hedge for the three-year-old to clamber over. It began a love affair with all dogs, and ...big dogs in particular. There is something unique and irreplaceable about the joy a dog can bring and Nathan has been lucky enough to have some wonderful dogs be part of his life. He feels a genuine affection and affinity with them, and is yet to meet a dog his calm and reassuring voice and demeanour can’t win over with the right environment a little bit of time. Whether it’s playing with a ball in the park, chasing sticks at the beach, getting little belly rubs or full-blown cuddles on the couch, your furry friend is guaranteed to have a great time with Nath, and you can bet Nath won’t be having such a bad time either. She has been tested now with a variety of farm animals and you can read about what kind of family and environment she is best suited to.
