24.01.2022 Hounds galore with Hounds and Homes this morning, a brisk walk along the river w MJ (no photo, forgot phone) and then a hike (and a splash!) with Abby and Jai. Why cant we all b like dogs...so easily pleased??!!

22.01.2022 Duma meets Stella. After a huge walk, the girls enjoy the shade of a tree while i work up a sweat gardening in the hot sun! As u can, Duma was pretty relaxed about it all.

21.01.2022 Jasper and Roxie doing just fine. They must find it so much easier to deal with this heat than my poor Stella...coat like a grizzly bear. Still no sign of Abby the cat They certainly have a mind of their own, dont they?

21.01.2022 Well this explains all the commotion this afternoon. Stella was barking her head off and refused to leave the base of the tree. Poor possum wasnt too distressed about it tho and was happy enough to tuck into an apple and suck on some watermelon.

18.01.2022 Good morning Jasper and Roxie! No sifn of Abby the cat but bo surprises there. Theyre happy to c us and loving some tummy tickles but not very interested in the ball today. Quite keen on brunch tho, and siennas comment when we fed them was, THAT ones a pig. Poor Jasper, Roxie just eats slowly. Think i might struggle to drag my little helper off the trampoline!

17.01.2022 They play well tho. It looks rough but its all just good fun. Poor little Bella has to watch all this from the safety of the kennel tho. If she got involved, Im not sure shed come out of there in one piece!

17.01.2022 4 happy, wet, cool dogs enjoy a walk after a swim. Thank goodness the weather has cooled down a teeny bit. My little helper and i r house sitting at the moment. Out of respect for the owners privacy, no pics, but Ive been battling to keep an acre of gardens alive in these hot winds!! And i know it has nothing to do with hounds and homes but take a look at my little helper in her very first school uniform! !!! Oh, my breaking heart!

14.01.2022 Hounds and Homes has a new base for the next week as my little helper and I house sit, dog sit, cat sit, fish sit, budgie sit and chook sit. Rexi is definitely missing her owners but getting plenty of attention. Pipsqueak the cat sashayed up to the backdoor at dinner but bolted at the site of a strangers face. However, all his dinner was gone this morning so ee didnt scare him too much. Chooks r happily roaming around the garden. As u can c, sienna is pretty happy about the pool situation!

13.01.2022 Great first night for Bella with Hounds and Homes. She even enjoyed a few cuddles on my new couch! Slept in the laundry and didnt hear a peep out of her and this morning shes been enjoying the sunshine with Stella on the front porch. Looks like shes going to have a great time here.

13.01.2022 After spending the morning at the mt panorama garage sale, sienna and I, Bella and Stella r settling in to watch The Secret Life of Pets. Not sure Stella is super happy with the seating arrangements. How i wish i could explain to her the impracticality of a 30 kilo Shepherd sitting in ones lap...

13.01.2022 Worlds worst facebooker, i know. Been forever since posting anything but Hounds and Homes still flat out. Sal and Penny have been spending plenty of time w me and check Alexas gorgeous geraniums! Stella Bear is loving the warmer weather which means lots of time with me on the front porch as i drink tea and watch the world go by. And weeks ago i was lucky enough to have sienna and scrappy keep me company while i cleaned a home for a lovely couple who were about to get married. May their honeymoon last forever!

12.01.2022 Who remembers Ojo? Looking mighty handsome sporting his new haircut. ..so adorable a couple of kids couldnt resist a cuddle. And hes much more settled and happy than last time i puppy sat. Hes obviously really benefiting from his new foster home.

10.01.2022 All happening during the busy holiday season...Stella, Duma and Abby r loving river swims, Sylvia the cat is loving tummy tickles (those eyes!!) and Rexi is loving couch time and hiding scooby snacks in her bed.

10.01.2022 Look whos with Hounds and Homes this weekend..Betty and Sweep. Sweeps owner had some sad news about his health recently but whatever shesdoing, its working. This hound looks fabulous and is literally jumping out of his skin with vitality! Betty, ur gorgeous too.

08.01.2022 As u can see, Bella has settled in nicely. She got a car ride to Young yesterday to watch the Cherry Parade and here Sienna is giving her cuddles in the shade of a tree at Cowra. One well travelled dog!

08.01.2022 Ella spends a good chunk of the afternoon chasing a very bouncy red ball whilst my little helper makes cocoa and sells it in her cafe. (Just quietly, dont try it!!!)

07.01.2022 Busy morning with the blonde brigade. Abby, Sally, Penny and Ella were all mighty pooped after a walk and swim. Check out some of tge beautiful gardens i get to visit!

06.01.2022 If anyone is in need of more joy, get a dog. Laugh a minute in our house this morning as sienna and bella played fetch with bellas soft toy until stella decided she wanted it. Too funny watching stella stealthily skulk around the house looking for a place to secrete it. Rectified situation by letting stella open her xmas present early. She was very happy with her new pink monkey.

06.01.2022 I swear, its worse than umpiring kids battles around here. Stella steals Kiras duck, toy pillow, Kira steals Stellas bone....aaahhhh!!!

06.01.2022 Introducing Delicate Duma...a gentle hound who showed me around her neighbourhood today. We were all pooped out and needed a huge drink when we got home.
