22.01.2022 HOUSE OF JACKSON TIP TUESDAY Today I share a little tip about top stitching, for the past few years I have been doing my top stitching with a ditch stitch ...foot as I find it gives a neater and more consistent result, top stitching is a great finish for manny projects as it give your project the extra pop it may need! 22.01.2022 How AWESOME is Nanny June’s quilt! After admiring one of my quilts I made with some of my favourite Tula pink fabrics (last picture is the quilt) nan was inspired to make her version! After showing nan how to make the blocks and she went and created this AMAZING quilt with her scraps. I was lucky enough to quilt this quilt for her with one of my favourite organic all over designs then nan bound it and did an amazing job! 15.01.2022 HOUSE OFJACKSON TIP TUESDAY #22 In today’s tip Tuesday I share a little tip for turning corners on your sewing projects without cutting any corners!

15.01.2022 Sometimes the most random things happen but they turn out to be the cutest, recently i was taking some photos for a free pattern I did when a bee flew onto the cushion & began to inspect the sweet fabrics i had used. Now normally i would run the other way when i see a bee however this day was different my curiosity kicked in, I began taking photos of the bee instead of the cushion! Oooh now I did mention a free patten and your probably wondering where you can find it, well the free pattern can be found in the Australian sewing community Facebook group so be sure to check it out!

Words can’t explain how over the moon I am with this piece of quilting for manny reasons, I haven’t had a lot of time to play around with whol...e cloth quilting lately until I decided to sit down and let my creativity and the stitches flow The lime green has come to life with the texture of the quilting and I absolutely love the colour This will be turnt into a project for myself! Woohoooo! And I got to play around with a new motif witch was quiet exciting Can’t wait to turn this piece of quilting into a special project for myself

04.01.2022 Just managed to get some photos of my latest creation, I’m pretty excited with how the finished project came together! And how the striped zip & fabric brought ...the quilted citrus green fabric to life! This will be used as my small projects pouch for my sashiko and epp projects, and yes I also do a little bit of hand sewing in my spare time, I normally don’t do a lot of hand sewing but I am starting to do a bit more & absolutely loving it!
