19.01.2022 Personal post My Shop selfies have become quite rare lately, somehow the introvert in me was awakened during the recent stay at home orders, during this time of global pandemic and protest I have found myself struggling to maintain my usual social media presence, make a video or up date my stories, business goes on, There are sale s and new stock to promote, pop up shops artisanal treasures and despite the worlds challenging circumstances plenty of hope. Yet I have f...ound myself drawn to all that is tangible in life living more in the present moment, sustenance & home space, with the rare share on the socials, I have to keep reminding myself yes my little pocket of handcrafted treasures for the home and individual is still important in this time of upheaval, my valued customers and followers want to be shared with. I have noticed a few others I follow seem to be going through the same experience. How has this shifting time changed how you share? have you found yourself turning inward or reaching out ? 17.01.2022 Happy Mumma’s Day beauties, I had a lovely couple of days back in the store Friday ~ Saturday helping our beautiful customers with some lovely gifts for the special mums in their lives 5 years ago on Mother’s Day I became a birth mum to this little ray of sunshine happy birthday to our darling Sylvie~Skye you have brought infinite Joy into our lives we love you so it was a very intense Day and there were moments when I wondered what I had got my self into! But with all... the madness of motherhood there is twice as much magic and I would not have it any other way. 11.01.2022 A particularly decadent corner of our Arcade shop, We have been furniture people for seven years and so many stunning feature pieces have come and gone , our Stratford store started out primarily stocked with mostly furniture this is is the last large hand painted Moroccan cupboard, We have in stock. we are currently moving away from larger furniture for the time being and focusing more on our jewellery accessories, soft furnishings and homewares. 09.01.2022 During this time of global unease and instability I have been constantly surprised at what styles and colour choices customers are seeking with renewed focus as they decorate their nests ~ lets just say bright and bold has been definitely the winning combo ~ unexpected when I thought soothing neutrals would continue their reign of interior spaces. Perhaps we are immersing ourselves in the happiness colour brings, exciting our minds within our home space, where a holiday ...used to deeply inspire we now take a walk on the wild side by layering our immediate surroundings in a textural rich colour pallet. 03.01.2022 Our Luxe carpet corner in store , plenty of these pieces are still available, we are heading into Summer here in TNQ but all our rugs are cotton, wool or cactus silk, all natural fibres which work for floor furnishings throughout the change of season, All of our one of a kind handwoven moroccan rugs, and kilims come with care instructions, and a unique story of far of lands, mountains and desert sands.
