25.01.2022 I decided to become an infant & child sleep consultant because I was interested in the science behind sleep. Why do some babies sleep and why some don’t?! Why the sleep environment affects sleep and what changes happen in our little ones during the early years that affect their sleep?! I am motivated to empower parents to give their child the sleep that they need!... I hope this page can help you find some answers on what is happening with your little one’s sleep! #sleep #sleepcoach #sleepconsultant #sleepy#sleeptraining #sleeptrainingsuccess #babysleep #australia #outback #introduction #aboutme #bondsbaby #tiredmumsclub #houseofsleep #restedasamother #letsmakesleepathing

18.01.2022 Love this new endorsement with @bondsbumpsandbaby and @rednoseaustralia ! It is great that the safe sleep message is getting more screen time in our socials and more people are talking about it! Here is a refresher on how to have a safe sleep environment for your baby as per the @rednoseaustralia guidelines:... Sleep your baby on their back, not on their tummy or side. Keep baby’s head and face uncovered use a safe baby sleeping bag with fitted neck and armholes and no hood. Keep your baby smoke free before and after birth. Provide a safe sleeping environment night & day safe cot (meeting Aust. standard AS2172) Safe Mattress (Firm, clean, flat & right size for cot) Safe bedding (No bumpers, no pillows, no soft toys, no lambs wool & no doona) Sleep baby in safe cot in the room of the parent/s. Breastfeed baby where possible. @bondsbumpsandbaby #babysleepcoach #baby #newborn #safesleep #SIDS #rednoseaustralia #safesleepsnap #bonds #bondsbaby #safesleepsolutions #safesleeping #babygirl #babyboy #tiredmumsclub #houseofsleep #teething

06.01.2022 Those newborn days seem like a lifetime ago, how I have changed so much in 3 short years. Check out my new blog post in a letter to myself as a first time Mother.

06.01.2022 Getting Started! A great way to slowly introduce a routine is to begin and finish each day at the same time. A great time to wake is 6.30/7am. If your little one wakes prior to this attempt to resettle. Make sure the room is still dark and not stimulating in your resettle ... For the end of your day start your bedtime routine around 5.30pm & aim to have your little one in bed by 6.30/7pm This works with your bubs natural biological clock Once your start and finish to the day is in place your day naps will be easier to naturally establish! 03.01.2022 Making your toddler run around all day to wear them out for their night time sleep? Sorry to break it to you, but that’s not how your little ones sleep works. This is a common misconception that many parents have & unfortunately it doesn’t work. When in fact the more sleep they get the more sleep they want! ... If you want your little one to go to sleep at a reasonable hour and stay asleep you should prioritise their sleep to stop them from becoming overtired. Overtiredness gives your bub a rush of cortisol that in turn will make it difficult to wind down and get into a deep sleep. Going to sleep later means waking up earlier! of my little Z #babysleepcoach #baby #toddler #babytravel #bonds #tiredmumsclub #restedasamother #mamatribe #sleepybaby #toddlersofinstagram #toddlerstyle #sleepconsultant #houseofsleep #rydedistrictmums #meadowbankmums #sleep
